OSOU Fee Structure 2026: Course-Wise Fees and Payment Modes

OSOU’s annual programme fee for the February 2025 session was Rs. 7500/- per year, with additional one-time fees of Rs. 400/- for Certificate and Rs. 100/- for Alumni. Examination fees are Rs. 200/- per course. All fees must be paid online through the admission or examination portal.

Online Admission Fee Payment Process

Admission fees are payable online only. The application process involves five steps, with online payment being the fourth step. Before starting the online process, ensure you have the necessary documents and IDs ready.

  • APAAR/ABC ID and DEB ID (mandatory as per UGC guidelines)
  • Photograph (jpg, 500 × 600 px, max 200KB)
  • Signature (jpg, 400 × 80 px, max 200KB)
  • Scan copy of your Name in Odia (jpg, 400 × 80 px, max 200KB; English is acceptable if unable to write in Odia)
  • Certificates of Educational Qualification (jpg or pdf, max 300KB)
  • Category Certificate (for ST/SC/OBC Non-Creamy, if any) (jpg or pdf, max 300KB)
  • PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate (if any) (jpg or pdf, max 300KB)
  1. If you are a first-time applicant, click on “NEW REGISTRATION” on the OSOU Online Admission Portal and fill in the required details. Provide your current email ID and cell phone number for communications.
  2. Login using your registered email ID and password.
  3. Click on “Proceed to Apply” to start the application process.
  4. Complete the “Personal Information” and “Academic Information” steps, clicking “Save & Continue” after each.
  5. In the “Document Upload” step, upload your photograph, signature, name in Odia (or English), and educational qualification certificates, along with any category or PwD certificates. Ensure documents meet the specified format and size requirements.
  6. Proceed to the “Online Payment” step and pay the programme fee online through any of the available payment gateways.
  7. In the “Edit or Submit Form” step, review your complete filled-in form. You can “Save as Draft” for later review or “Save & Submit” for final submission. After final submission, you cannot edit the form.
  8. After final submission, take a printout of your form using the “Print Application Form” option for your reference.

Online Examination Fee Payment Process

Examination fees must be paid online only. Ensure all courses for which you intend to appear are included in one submission.

  1. Login to the examination submission portal.
  2. Fill the exam form with utmost care and accuracy. No requests for changes to courses or examination centres will be entertained afterwards.
  3. Ensure that the exam form for all courses you wish to appear for is filled in one instance only.
  4. Review the summary of your filled examination form on screen before proceeding to payment.
  5. Make the payment through online mode only. Examination fees once paid are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
  6. Take a printout of the acknowledgement for future reference.
  7. If payment is deducted but no acknowledgement receipt is generated, wait for 48 working hours to check the status. If no status appears, resubmit the examination form. For a refund of the deducted amount, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Refund of Excess Exam Fee <Enrollment Number>”.
