Applicants must complete all registration and submission steps on the OSOU online admission portal.

  1. Click on ‘NEW REGISTRATION’ and enter personal details using a valid email ID and cell phone number.
  2. Log in using the registered email ID and password, then click ‘Proceed to Apply’.
  3. Complete Step 1: Personal Information and click ‘Save & Continue’.
  4. Complete Step 2: Academic Information and enter qualifying educational details.
  5. Complete Step 3: Document Upload to attach required photographs, signature, and certificates.
  6. Complete Step 4: Online Payment to pay the programme fee online.
  7. Review all inputs in Step 5: Edit or Submit Form. Click ‘Save as Draft’ if further review is needed, or click ‘Save & Submit’ for final submission.
  8. Click ‘Print Application Form’ to obtain a printed copy for personal records.

Document and ID Requirements for Admission

Before beginning the application process, candidates must keep mandatory UGC identifiers and properly sized digital copies of their documents ready.

  • ABC ID and DEB ID: Mandatory per UGC guidelines for distance learning admissions; must be created via the UGC-DEB portal prior to application.
  • Photograph: JPG format, 500 × 600 px dimensions, maximum size 200 KB.
  • Signature: JPG format, 400 × 80 px dimensions, maximum size 200 KB.
  • Scan Copy of Name in Odia: JPG format, 400 × 80 px dimensions, maximum size 200 KB (uploading in English is permitted if unable to write in Odia).
  • Educational Qualification Certificates: JPG or PDF format, maximum size 300 KB.
  • Category Certificate (ST/SC/OBC Non-Creamy): JPG or PDF format, maximum size 300 KB (if applicable).
  • PwD Certificate: JPG or PDF format, maximum size 300 KB (if applicable).
